A very rare set of plates showing mishaps and poking fun at the gentleman hunter. A scarce set of amusing sporting incidents. In draftsmanship and colouring they are superior to “Indispensable Accomplishments”.   

Without engraved title, but with full suite of 8 original hand coloured aquatints. Plates without captions. First State.

Each 27 x 22.2 cm

Even age toning and light spotting. Evidence of earlier mounting to verso.
