From a very scarce series of bird prints, 'Naturgeschichte in Bildern mit erlauterdem Text von Dr. Fried. Strack.', published by Arnz & Co., Dusseldorf 1819-1826. 

Overall size: 20 x 25 cm.

Original hand color. Unknown lithographer. On fine cream Whatmann paper.

Friedrich Strack (1781-1852) was a German educator and professor in Bremen, later in Dusseldorf.

In good condition. Very rare as such.
