Extremely rare Swiss public health guidelines published at the beginning (this the second printing) of the Cholera epidemic of 1831/32.
The second cholera pandemic spread from Russia to the rest of Europe, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. Largely due to Switzerland’s impressive campaign of public health warnings, it was largely able to avoid serious problems from this outbreak. The first cases noted in England occurred one month after the publication of this document.
