Shows bust portraits of thirteen Swiss artists. Among those depicted are: Peter and Samuel Birmann, Godefroy Engelmann, Franz Hegi, Sigismond Himely, Matthias Gabriel Lory (or his father Gabriel Ludwig Lory), Johann Heinrich Luttringhausen, Maximilien de Meuron, Frederic Wilhelm Moritz, Jean Frederic Ostervald (shown at center), Ludwig Vogel and Joseph Simon Volmar.

The collective portrait was created on a joint journey by the artists portrayed in Paris on the occasion of the publication of the album "Voyage dans l'Oberland Bernois" in 1822.
