Extremely RARE FIRST ISSUE of 1548 (the map was reprinted in 1587 and 1606, both on much inferior paper and different title).

Size: 36 x 22.3 cm

Most unusual in that the map is facing south. Scarce map of northern Switzerland and Southern German, from Stumpf's Schweytzer Chronick.

Later hand colour.

Good overall condition.
