Earlom completed these engravings after the drawings begun in 1636 by Claude le Lorrain (1600-1682) for Liber Veritatis. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eClaude Lorrain's family name was Gellée. He was born in the region of Lorrain in France (1600-1682) but spent most of his life in Italy, where he was a pupil of Italian artist\/engraver, Giovanni Battista Cipriani.
